Our History...
Today, we are your corner grocery store with staples, dry goods, farm eggs and raw milk. Everything from seasonal vegetables to toilet paper. We also carry Mexican Coke (no high fructose corn syrup) and Arden's Garden juices. Anything you don't see on our shelves we are happy to order for you.
Cabbagetown Market has been a fixture on Carroll Street since 1929. There were originally more than 10 small grocery stores serving the community and this is the last one standing (many have been converted into private homes).
In its history, the Market has been home to a full butcher shop, a barber shop, grocery store and grill. But it has always been a place for neighbors and visitors to stop in, see old friends and meet new ones.
